Our Story

A Legacy Shaped by the Land

For more than a century, this land has carried a family connection to cattle, horsemanship, and the traditions of Argentine ranch life.

The frontier spirit remains.

The roots of Terra Pampa trace back to the early 20th century, when Juan Harriet rode south into the Argentine frontier in search of cattle and opportunity.

What began as a bold journey across Patagonia became the foundation of a lasting family connection to the land, to horsemanship, and to the traditions of ranch life in Argentina.

A Living Ranch

Not recreated. Lived.

At its core, Terra Pampa remains a true working cattle ranch. Ranching here is not a performance — it is part of the estate’s living identity.

Guests witness authentic gaucho culture still very much alive: cattle drives, horsemanship, and field traditions that continue much as they have for generations.

Terra Pampa should feel less like a lodge and more like a private Argentine estancia where sporting, heritage, hospitality, and silence meet naturally.
